To ensure continued efficiency in its operations, the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) organized Sulong pa, PLLO! (Conduct of the PLLO Mid-Year Assessment, PLLO's 37th Founding Anniversary, and GAD Training-Seminar at Escala Hotel, Tagaytay City, 25-26 June 2024.
A month before the opening of the 3rd Regular Session of the 19th Congress, the PLLO convened together on the first day to conduct its mid-year assessment. The activity aims to evaluate its overall agency performance and budget utilization, and further improve the operations and conduct of programs, activities, and projects for the remaining months of the Fiscal Year 2024.
The next activity is in line with the celebration of the PLLO’s 37th Founding Anniversary wherein the challenges and successes of the PLLO and how it evolved as an organization were discussed. The program included activities that aimed to strengthen camaraderie and harmony among PLLO officials and employees towards boosting their performance at work and improving their professional competence and teamwork.
On the second day, the GAD Training-Seminar was held wherein PLLO officials and employees worked together in crafting the PLLO-GAD Agency Manual. The PLLO-GFPS led the activity which ultimately led to the turnover of the PLLO-GAD Agency Manual for review and approval of Secretary Mark Llandro Mendoza, Presidential Legislative Adviser and Head of the PLLO.
Secretary Mendoza reiterated his appreciation to all PLLO employees who efficiently fulfill their tasks and render collaborative work, making it possible for PLLO to accomplish its goals. The 2-day activity concluded with renewed strength and resiliency among all PLLO officials and employees who are ready to take on the coming challenges and further the Office's mandate as the strategic arm of the Office of the President that bridges the Executive and Legislative Branches of government.
