As a kick-off activity in line with the 2024 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC), the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) conducted Handog 2024: PLLO Gabay At Damay (GAD) Outreach Program at the Haven for Women (HFW) NCR, Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, 08 March 2024.
During the program, PLLO Head, Secretary Mark Llandro Mendoza, emphasized the importance of government intervention facilities such as the HFW to the recovery and empowerment of the residents. Meanwhile, Asst. Secretary Rose Virginie Iñigo thanked the HFW management for allowing the PLLO to spend the International Women's Day (IWD) with the residents.
Ms. Jasmin Pasong, Supervising Social Worker, welcomed the PLLO and discussed the services of HFW. Ms. Pasong thanked the PLLO for choosing HFW as recipient of the goodie bags and grocery packs this IWD. The ceremonial turnover of the goodie bags and grocery packs to HFW followed.
The PLLO was able to support a total of 120 women residents of HFW and their children.
