The Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) led by Secretary Mark Llandro L. Mendoza, together with other officials from the PLLO, hosted a meeting with the Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC) Technical Working Group on Legislative Agenda and Policies held at Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, 02 October 2023.
The said meeting was attended by JSCC officials, including Hon. Raul B. Villanueva, Court Administrator from the Supreme Court, Associate Justice Jennifer Joy C. Ong from the Court of Appeals, Undersecretary Juan Victor R. Llamas from the Department of Interior and Local Government, Chief State Counsel Dennis Arvin L. Chan from the Department of Justice.
The participants discussed the JSCC Legislative Agenda for 2023 and the process on how to shepherd the passage of the JSCC’s priority bills. They also presented various status updates of the pending bills in both houses of Congress relative to the Justice Sector.
